1. Respect yourself and others: Treat yourself, teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, and spectators with respect and dignity. Show good sportsmanship and avoid any form of disrespectful or harmful behavior, including bullying, harassment, or discrimination. 

2. Follow team rules and guidelines: Abide by the rules and guidelines set by your coaches and the Weston Ranch Jr Cougars organization. This includes attendance, punctuality, dress code, behavior expectations, and any other team-specific requirements. 

3. Display good sportsmanship: Demonstrate fair play, honesty, and integrity in all aspects of the game. Accept both victory and defeat with grace and humility. Avoid taunting, trash-talking, or any unsportsmanlike behavior. 

4. Commit to teamwork: Understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Support and encourage your teammates, communicate effectively, and work together to achieve team goals. Celebrate the successes of your teammates and contribute positively to the team dynamic. 

5. Practice good behavior on and off the field: Maintain appropriate behavior and language both during practices and competitions as well as in your personal life. Represent the Weston Ranch Jr Cougars in a positive light at all times, whether you are in uniform or not. 

6. Prioritize education: Understand that academics should be a priority. Dedicate sufficient time and effort to your schoolwork, ensuring that it does not interfere with your commitment to the team. 

7. Be responsible for your own actions: Take responsibility for your actions and their consequences. Understand that your behavior reflects not only on yourself but also on your teammates, coaches, and the Weston Ranch Jr Cougars organization. 

8. Uphold safety standards: Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by your coaches. Take appropriate precautions to prevent injuries to yourself and others. 

9. Respect the authority of coaches and officials: Listen to and follow the instructions of your coaches and officials. Accept their decisions, even if you disagree, and avoid arguing or disrespecting their authority. 

10. Support and respect the cheerleaders/athletes from other teams: Treat cheerleaders/athletes from opposing teams with respect and sportsmanship. Applaud their efforts and avoid any negative or derogatory comments or actions towards them.

4. Teach and enforce the rules: Educate athletes on the rules of the game and ensure they understand and follow them. Emphasize fair play, honest competition, and respect for opponents, officials, and teammates.

5. Communicate effectively: Maintain clear and open lines of communication with athletes, parents, officials, and other coaches. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help athletes improve. Listen to concerns and address them in a respectful and professional manner.
